Red clover, a short-lived perennail, usually produces two or three hay crops per year. It is characterized by rapid spring growth and low winter hardiness, which contributes to it's short lived nature.

 

This legume provides ample quantities of nitrogen and valuable quantities of biomass that benefit your soil.
